We believe in practicing and teaching the fundamental skills of storytelling that remain unchanged. Only with this foundation can we succeed and seamlessly transition between the ever-changing face of media.
Juan is a Toronto-based director, story consultant and producer. His work has been shown in film festivals all over the world and broadcast by major channels including Discovery Channel, RCN and TVO. His documentary film career spans fifteen years and three continents, beginning in his native Colombia, where he created and produced original programming for television and worked as a journalist.
Juan's debut Canadian documentary, Listen to This, premiered at Hot Docs and was nominated for a Gemini Award for Best Arts Documentary. Juan is a member of Hot Docs' international programming team and has also been a Hot Docs Blue Ice mentor and the Documentary Channel Doc Accelerator Program Facilitator. Juan holds an undergraduate degree in telecommunications from the University of Florida and a Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School.
Nicole's passion for story has inspired an intensive career spanning more than 10 years in media and production. Before entering the world of documentary, she honed her production skills in the U.S. corporate world, serving as senior editor on numerous videos and commercials for brands like General Mills, NASCAR, TD Ameritrade and Colgate-Palmolive.
In 2012, Nicole arrived in Canada armed with a clear vision to tell stories that matter. Currently, she blends her roles as entrepreneur and storyteller, co-producing branded documentaries for social organizations with meaningful messages.
Nicole is currently in production on a short film, in collaboration with The Daniels Corporation, focused on the youth of Regent Park, Toronto's oldest and largest social housing project.
